4 Flavour Guru-Approved Netflix Original Show & Ice Cream Flavour Pairings
The Ben & Jerry’s Flavour Gurus know a thing or two about flavour pairings. After all, they’re the ones who thought to put Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Chocolate Fudge Brownie in the same pint and call it Half Baked, and if that’s not proof of genius, we don’t know what is.
Like the rest of us, the Flavour Gurus love settling in to watch an exciting Netflix Original with a scoop of their favourite Ben & Jerry’s flavour. So we asked them about their favourite pairings, and they did not disappoint.

Item number 1
Sarah Pairs Peanut Butter Cup With The Chef Show
What Flavour Guru wouldn’t love watching their favourite chefs and a series of A-list celebs whip up their favourite dishes and shoot the breeze about their love of cooking? Sarah loves that, like Peanut Butter Cup, The Chef Show features “an unlikely combination of ingredients [coming] together to create something better than the sum of its parts.” And she has a special celeb chef connection: “I went to the same culinary school as [one of the hosts],” she says, “so I really enjoy hearing him talk about his experiences and the chefs he learned from while there.”

Item number 2
Colleen Pairs Milk & Cookies With The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
“Milk & Cookies is a nostalgic flavour that has a unique twist (hello chocolate cookie swirls!),” she says, “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina ties in the comic book series from the past and offers a fresh take by introducing unexpected humorous elements.” Cookie lovers won’t need to call on the spirits of the forest to pack their pint with cookies because it’s already chock full. Chunk after chunk and spell after spell, it’s a chillingly euphoric duo.

Item number 3
Eric Pairs Phish Food With Chef’s Table
“This show is about beautiful food and plating nuance,” Eric says of Chef’s Table, a show that tells the stories of incredible chefs from around the globe. He likes to watch it with a pint of Phish Food, which “looks amazing when the pint is cut in half,” he says, “and the flavours of the caramel and marshmallow are nostalgic for me.” We couldn’t agree more — those fudge fish are as photogenic as any chef’s signature dish.

Item number 4
Haylee Pairs Half Baked With Grace And Frankie
“Just like Grace and Frankie, this pint is a stellar pairing of two flavours that when combined make for a fun, can't-put-it-down experience,” she says, “It's a little adult, it's a little childish, and it's very enjoyable.” Is the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough straight-laced Grace while the Chocolate Fudge Brownie is free-spirited Frankie? Or is it vice versa? Either way, it’s one of the most delicious odd couples ever.
